Maryland Mustang Mission is a newly formed nonprofit 501(c)(3) that is devoted to spreading mustang awareness and education on the east coast by showcasing the American Mustang's versatility and ability to go from wild to mild.
Did you know that there are over 58,000 wild mustangs in holding facilities across the United States?! We need your help to successfully accomplish our mission and help get these amazing horses out of holding facilities and into forever homes! With change comes new beginnings and we are taking a leap of faith with establishing this 501(c)(3) to keep these events going. Let's make the Maryland Mustang Extravaganza and Open Show a huge success in 2024! We cannot do either of these events without you. Woodrow is a 2011 American Mustang from Salt Wells Creek, WY. He was a band (herd) stallion with seven mares and countless foals. His band was gathered in October 2017. After winning his competitive bid on the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Internet Auction in February 2018, I finally brought him home on April 13, 2018 and it has truly been a fairytail ever since. He melts the hearts of everyone he meets and is an incredible ambassador for our wild mustangs. He is the one that has helped me start SBF Mustang Eventing and the reason why I started hosting the Maryland TIP Challenge in 2021. I owe it all to the Lord and this incredible horse for putting me on this journey, hence why he is represented in our logo. God Bless our American Mustangs.
